After years of war, strife, and struggle, Kora has returned home to the city of Cerulean, hoping to build a quiet life for herself away from the Genevian capital and the demands of generals and politicians.

But that peace is shattered before it can even begin when she witnesses a gang fight and brutal murder. Taken in and questioned by the police, Kora realizes that they have no intention of stopping the bloody fights taking place across the city each night.
